Halo is a military science fiction videogame franchise that features Master Chief as the main character and has had 16 titles released over the past 19 years. You may be wondering why is it that everybody is looking forward to playing their latest and still upcoming release called Halo Infinite.
Halo’s Background
One of the main reasons why the number of Halo fans keeps increasing is that it has gone from strictly videogames to books, animated movies, graphic novels, and so on. It has come a long way since it was first developed by Bungie, going through Ensemble Studios, and lastly 343 Industries.
The publishers have also variated a bit, but they have all invested in great marketing strategies and funded the creation of outstanding graphics and incredible gameplay. Microsoft has been a publisher as of late and the technology giant has done a great job of teasing Halo lovers with small but interesting updates about the latest release since 2018.
Latest Teaser
At this past Microsoft’s Xbox Series X stream, Halo Infinite was the protagonist, as the event even opened with a trailer that allowed us to see Master Chief’s armor’s creation. Although they also showed some of the gameplay from the campaign, we have yet to see how the multiplayer gameplay is going to be.
From what we could appreciate with these gameplay teasers, we will be able to accomplish many missions and choose the order we are going to do so. The grappling hook that was rumored the game was going to have made an appearance in a combat sequence, showing that it takes a little bit between uses.
This great new item is used by Master Chief to pull himself into different locations, towards enemies, or simply to pull items towards him.
The split-screen we all loved and missed so much is back for this new release that has shown to have the biggest Halo ring yet. Microsoft talked about huge battles that all of us gamers will be able to enjoy in up to 4K graphic quality.
There is a considerable amount of excitement that exists thanks to well-executed marketing campaigns for the game but that is hardly all there is to it. With each teaser, we fans can see that Halo Infinite is going to be filled with epic battles and amazing new weaponry, in the context of a huge world. What is there not to look forward to?
